Nutley Church of England Primary School

We are very fortunate to have a wonderful primary school just the cross the road from us in Nutley. Our close connections mean that we are able to integrate our rising 5s directly with the reception class team and ensure a calm and exciting transition to ‘big school’

Nutley Church of England Primary School was built in 1853 as a Voluntary Controlled Church of England School. Together with the Church of St James the Less it has been at the heart of the village community for nearly 160 years. The school has a strong Christian ethos and a link with the church is evident in all it does. Christian symbols are evident throughout the building and displays are regularly linked to stories from the Bible.  Though, as a school, we promote the values of the Christian faith we recognise that some of our children come from other religions and cultural backgrounds and we respect their beliefs.
