Apologies for those who can’t even think of the word Christmas yet, but we are getting ahead of the game- so read on below and see what’s in store for us at Little Deers!
2017 is the Christmas for your Little Deer to be a designer….

Our amazing staff have already been doing ‘secret’ things at Preschool, but all be revealed soon… hint- you can get totally on top of cards, wrapping, tags, gifts and more this month!!

Win-Win, you get super cute Christmas Cards etc, You get it ticked off your list EARLY and Preschool raise some funds.
I’m excited, can you tell?!?

It’ll be quick ordering, if we get it all done by Oct 17th Preschool will make a higher percentage commission from your purchase.

Keep an eye out in trays for the order forms!

Staff will be in training sessions and preschool will be closed.
Followed by Half Term Week, back in sessions Monday Oct 30th

BOOK CLUB IS BACK!

Our new Scholastic Book Club is up and running! Go to http://schools.scholastic.co.uk/little-deers-tn22 to browse the latest books and order online. For every £1 you spend on this month’s Book Club, our school will earn 25p in Scholastic Rewards.

Please place your order online by October 19th, 2017

(Rewards from this will go to buy gifts from Santa at our Christmas Party!)

All Children, the term after they turn 3 years old, are eligible for the Universal 15 Hours. You can ‘spend’ this in 3 or 6 hour blocks over the week with us.

But, for some they may be eligible for 30 hours Funding!

2018 School Intake (This year’s Rising 5’s)

For those of us who’s child will be turning 4 this academic year, they will be off to school next September!
Nutley Primary School Open Day is Tuesday November 21st, 9.30am- 10.30am.
Please do go an take a look and see what they have to offer you and your child, it’s a truly lovely school and most of our Little Deers go there, so an easy transition for them, and you.

Date Alert:
Christmas Play and Party
Friday December 15th 11am – 2pm
Come along, bring all the family for this wonderful day together. The children will perform a wonderful play, there will be a Children’s lunch, Adult Buffet, Tea, Coffee, A children’s entertainer, amazing raffle prizes, and MORE! (Ho, Ho Ho!).
A staple favorite day for so many of us (this will be my 4th!).
Note, Preschool will NOT be in session this day and all children must be accompanied.

Uniform…
If you would like to keep those home clothes clean, consider getting the Preschool Polo Shirts and Fleeces. They are super comfy, wash and wear really well and come in Red or Blue!

(Size 3/4 or 5/6)
Stock is at Preschool, so do ask and it’ll be yours!

AGM
Thank you to those who came out to our AGM on Oct 2nd.
I would like to announce the following Officers for the Committee have been re-elected for the academic year 2017-18
Chairperson: Alison Mason
Secretary: Hannah MacKay
Treasurer: Neil Lovett
We have also updated our Constitution to the Pre-School Learning Alliance 2011 Model, and this was adopted unanimously at the this AGM. Please ask Ali if you wish to see a copy.
Invoices
Your termly invoice should be with you via email very shortly. Please contact Ali Mason or Neil Lovett if you wish to discuss payment or have any queries.
Prompt payment is really appreciated.

Ad-Hoc Sessions are now invoiced with a paper copy at pick up time, please ensure you pay within 7 days of your ad-hoc session.

For all Payments, the Pre-School Account details are: A/C 21361709 S/C 72 00 03. Please include a reference of your childs name or initials and ‘AdHoc’ (Eg. JBLoggsAdHoc)
